Known worldwide for his vibrant colors, female figures, and versatility, Marcelo Ment is the truest embodiment of contemporary Brazilian Urban Art.

Born in the Baixada Fluminense region in 1977, raised in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro and self-taught, he is part of the first generation of graffiti artists in Rio and will celebrate 28 years of his career in 2026.

Beyond the borders of Rio de Janeiro, Ment has been leaving his mark throughout Brazil and the world. The artist has already exhibited in Paris, Amsterdam, London, Barcelona, ​​New York, Boston, Chicago, Miami, and Buenos Aires, and his paintings are found in private collections in these and other cities.

Ment is the only artist from Rio de Janeiro to be featured in the books "The Book of Tags" and "Street Fonts – Graffiti Alphabets from Around the World," references in the world's urban art culture. In 2023, he received an honorable mention as an "Illustrious Tricolor" from Fluminense Football Club, his favorite team and where he has been carrying out artistic projects since 2011.

He is also the only Brazilian member of the renowned "StickUpKidsCrew," a collective of artists from around the world, founded by the German Can2.

In 2024, Ment held his first solo exhibition inside a museum, in the Mestre Vitalino Room, in the gardens of the Museum of the Republic, which received 15,000 visitors in 3 months.
